We had a legendary great time working with Christine and Paul on their wedding, they are such a sweet, sweet couple! Their wedding and reception was held at the Palace Ballroom in Seattle. We started out at Inn at the Market and then got some great shots around Pike Place Market before heading over to Palace Ballroom.
Christine and Paul met on match.com in March, 2008 and after their first date they were completely enamored with each other. Their love for food and anything funny brought them together, and they were constantly on the prowl for hilarity and their next meal. When Paul decided to ask Christine to marry him, he knew it had to somehow involve food. After getting the ring, he made a reservation at Matt’s in the Market, one of their favorite restaurants. He made a special trip to the restaurant beforehand to pick out the table and speak to the chef about preparing a special dessert with the words, “Will you marry me?” written on the plate in chocolate sauce. They were kind enough to oblige and when the time came, the dessert was brought out, he popped the question and Christine said “yes!” It all went off without a hitch!
They wanted their colors to reflect the fall harvest, and the theme of their wedding was fun and good food. Their menu represented three Tom Douglas restaurants: Palace Kitchen, Dahlia Lounge, and Lola. There were three different stations, Asian, Mediterranean and American, each with a matching cocktail to go with it. Believe me, the food was delicious! Congratulations Christine & Paul!!
Some engagement shoot images we took back in July!
Christine’s gift to Paul was our boudoir photo book that we designed using images from our boudoir photo shoot with her. The book turned out beautiful and, from the photos, I think it was a hit with Paul, what do you think?
